Jennifer Bond

Founder & CEO

Jennifer Bond is a law professor, social entrepreneur, and leading expert on the policy and operational dimensions of the global refugee system. She serves on the Boards of Airbnb.org and Talent Beyond Boundaries; is co-founder and Chair of the Global Refugee Sponsorship Initiative; and is co-leading the inaugural secretariat of the Resettlement Diplomacy Network.

Jennifer has helped design and launch refugee protection pathways and community sponsorship programs in over 20 countries, working closely with governments, civil society, and private sector partners. She also has significant experience leading teams; building nimble, high-impact programming; and managing successful multi-sectoral partnerships at national and global levels. This includes conceptualizing and launching a number of Pathways International’s flagship initiatives.

She has previously managed a grass-roots NGO supporting at-risk youth; worked as a strategic analyst at a leading consulting agency; practiced law at a major firm; and served with the UNHCR in Damascus, Syria. She has published in leading peer-review journals; provided expert commentary for over 75 national and international media stories; and delivered workshops and presentations around the world.

Jennifer holds degrees in law, literature, and business. She completed her graduate work at the Yale Law School and clerked at the Supreme Court of Canada. She has been awarded the International Commission of Jurists’ Tarnopolsky Award and appointed to the Order of Ontario in recognition of her contributions to global refugee protection.
